What is the difference between a Social Security Disability Claim and an SSI claim?
- Social Security Disability benefits are based upon your earnings record, while SSI benefits can be awarded to someone who hasn’t ever worked or who hasn’t worked enough to qualify for Social Security Disability benefits.
